Gannan Medical University is situated in the city of Ganzhou, in the south of Jiangxi Province. The university have two beautiful campus and good atmosphere. It is a higher institute of medical sciences, under the supervision of Jiangxi Provincial Government.
The university can trace its history back to April, 1941. With the development for decades, the university has made great contributions to health work and medical education. We have trained more than 20,000 health workers, who are now working in many places both at home and abroad. The university has been conferred with the title of “Qualified University” by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic China.
The university has 16 schools: School of Basic Medical Science, School of Clinical Medicine, School of Humanity and Social Science, School of Continuing Education and International Education College, etc. The university has 11 departments: Clinical Medicine, Ocular & ENT Science, Anesthesia Science and so on. Among them there are 65 teaching and research sections, 4 research institutions, 4 general labs and 8 specialized labs. There are all together 1,787 staff, including 401 professional teachers. 36 percent teachers have got senior titles and 52 percent are holding Master’s and Doctoral Degrees.

Gannan Medical University is located in a beautiful medium sized city of Jiangxi Province Ganzhou City. The university can trace its history back to April 1941. It is very near to Hong Kong, Macao Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Gannan Medical University is recognized by WHO(world Health Organization),Chinese Ministry of education, UNESCO, China Scholarship Council and Chinese Medical Association.

Gannan Medical University teaches Medical (MBBS) course to international students in English Medium. The syllabus entirely based on USMLE/PLAB and PMDC.

The university has sister relationship with universities in USA, Europe, Japan and other Asian Countries. We have students from most African countries, Middle East, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, India, Nepal, South Africa and east Asian countries.

Fees should be paid after the admission confirmation letter is issued, and you become officially a student of Gannan Medical University or our sister medical university, this is visa security fee for your study visa, which will be deducted from your actual tuition fee we sent you in first email).

Materials Required for Application

  • Official scan copies of Matric, 10+2 , O-Level, F.Sc or A-Level in (All document scan copies should be Submitted via email)
  • Scan copy of the valid passport.
  • Scan Copies Of all transcripts.

Admissions Criteria

  • Applicant must have own passport for admission.
  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 exams with pre-medical subject (Intermediate, A- Level or 12th Grade Schooling).
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally healthy.
  • Applicant must follow laws and regulations set by Gannnan Medical University and sister medical colleges
  • Applicant must be proficient in English.
